Event Details
Service-orientated architecture (SOA) is all around. SOA has been seen as a technology theme mainly. Now is the right time to reap the benefits of SOA in the form of better business process support.

As business executives now expect a return on their investments in SOA, IT departments are busy starting new pilot projects, making use of the new underlying flexibility. However, the question remains whether to invest in even more infrastructure, business process management, business activity monitoring, information on demand or other innovative areas?

DC's Service-Orientated Architecture Conference 2009 will examine the hottest topics, including:

    * Why SOA is still a hot topic.
    * The two approaches: top down or bottom up. What is better for SOA?
    * The next steps after the architecture is ready.
    * BPM and SOA working in partnership for optimal business performance

The agenda will also examine a number of business management challenges, which must be addressed before wider-scale adoption can be started.

The conference will enable end users to make informed decisions about where and when to use SOA, and will include end-user case studies and presentations from leading vendors and IDC analysts.

In an entire ecosystem of products and services providers, IDC's SOA conference will help the IT decision makers to understand how, what, when and whose SOA solutions to implement.

Who Should Attend
If you are responsible for developing and implementing your organisation's IT strategy, this conference will provide you with the tools and information you need to implement a companywide SOA solution that deploys agile, manageable and secure technology.     * IT managers
    * Networking specialists
    * Infrastructure specialists
    * CIOs, COOs
