The Monaghan IT Forum (a panel formed by Monaghan County Council to promote IT), is holding a county information technology conference entitled "Exploiting the Potential of IT - A Monaghan Perspective". The Minister of State for the NewEra Project, Fergus O'Dowd, TD, will launch the conference. The focus of this conference is to demonstrate how IT can help businesses develop and grow in Co Monaghan and we will have case studies from successful local companies who have used technology to streamline their systems and develop new services. The conference will also outline the availability of broadband in the county and the Q&A will provide an opportunity for feedback from the floor on future broadband and IT developments within the county. The conference is free to attend and open to all businesses and interested parties.
