What better way to start off the new year then with a visit to the second annual Irish Java Technologies Conference (IJTC 2008) in Dublin on January 7th and 8th 2009.

The IJTC is Ireland's leading developer conference for people working or interested in the Java space.

With the help of our sponsors JBoss, Hosting365, Accenture Technology Services SpringSource and eircom, we've again assembled an amazing line up of Java evangelists that you'd normally have to spend hundreds (if not thousands) of euro travelling to international conferences to hear. Now, all you need do is come to Dublin!

Speakers like.....

Jeff Genender, Serial Apache Committer (more)

Charles Nutter, world leading authority and Sun Microsystems evangelist on JRuby. (Join Community List for Update)

Guillaume Nodet, a leading open source evangelist for Progress Software (Join Community List for Update)

Guillaume Laforge, inventor of the Groovy scripting language returns for his second IJTC visit. (more)

Mark Proctor, JBoss Lead Developer on Drools, the business rules engine. (more)

Manik Sutarni, Lead Developer on JBoss Cache - actually, it does much more than Cache! (more)

Werner Keil, Lead Developer for Mercedes Benz in Germany and JSR-275 Spec Lead (more)

Sam Brannen, Springsource. Visa problems put a halt to Sam presentation last year, but no such problem now! Come along and here his presentation on Building Web Applications with the SpringSource Application Platform. (more)

Kevin Noonan, Local Java developer who will discuss Cloud Java (more)

Chris Davey, Senior Technical Architect at Accenture, Chris will present on the collaborative Accenture SpringSource work (more)

David Syer, SpringSource developer. (Join Community List for Update)

Oisin Hurley, community peer and IrishDev.com committee member will present on Apache Camel. (Join Community List for Update)

Like your peers, fellow developers and even competitors, your participation at the Irish Java Technologies Conference on January 7th and 8th will introduce you to world class speakers, people to collaborate with and even people to do business with.

At just €229.00 it's a tiny part of your educational or marketing budget that will almost certainly give you more value than you invest!
