Senior Java Developer

My client is a leading provider of software applications for the financial services and card acquiring industry. My client have an immediate requirement for a Senior Java Developer for an initial 3 month contract which will be based in their Dublin city centre offices.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive skills in web application development along with excellent testing and debugging experience. The successful candidate will be required to assist in the release of software builds to test/ production environments, providing functional and test documentation for all completed work.

 

 

Required skills:

• Extensive Java, XSL/XML/ AJAX, Web Services, JavaScript, JSP, EJB, Java Servlets
• Object oriented design principles
• Knowledge of BEA Weblogics, Apache or Tomcat
• Strong knowledge of XML processing and related web technologies ( XSLT, CSS )

 

Candidate requirements:

• 4+ years experience in Internet related software design
• BSc. in Computer Science or related field
• Extensive knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Previous experience working in the Financial Services sector is a plus
