Senior Linux C Programmer - Mobile

Description

Wi-Pipe are looking for a highly experienced programmer to work on an exciting new mobile telecommunications device. While the company is located in Waterford, remote working is possible.

 

The candidate will have proven experience in delivering projects on time and be good at managing self workload.

While the requirements are clearly specified the candidate will be expected to provide input into the best possible technical solution and architecture.

 

 

The contact is initially for two months, with a possibility to extend.

 

 

Skills

• C programming
• VPN (OpenVPN preferably)
• Networking (Linux bonding)
• Linux (Ubuntu)

 

Experience

• 5 - 10 years commercial experience, preferably (although not essential) with mobile data / UMTS networks

 

Rates will be commensurate with market rates and the applicants experience.
