Infrastructure and Service Delivery Management in areas such enterprise architecture, technical infrastructure service design and delivery, server and client operating systems and architecture stacks, telecommunications and networking infrastructure delivery support, technical support, ICT service management, operations and server support, ICT/ cyber security, mobile device management, virtualisation delivery support, database and application support, cloud computing, etc.
All roles may also encompass portfolio/ programme/ project management, vendor & contract management, business relationship & account management, research, ICT policy and standards development, etc.
A panel will be formed from this competition to fill vacancies in Civil Service Departments and Offices and ICT Specialist roles in other Civil Service organisations such as An Garda Síochána. It is envisaged that the majority of vacancies arising over the lifetime of the panel will be located in Dublin. However, a limited number of vacancies may also arise in regional locations which may be filled from this panel.
