CubicLaunches iPad 3G SIM Card

 Cubic Telecom Card Enables Low Cost  Data Roaming 4 iPad 3G

 

 

Cubichas been working  on the new MicroSIM Form Factor 3 SIM card standard,used by Apple's new iPad and iPhonesPioneeriing Irish Mobile Network Operator Cubic Telecom has launched what it says is Europe's first SIM card for the new iPad 3G, which allows users to access the web anywhere in Europe without racking up expensive roaming charges.

 

 

The iPad 3G went on sale in the US on April 30while Apple announced last week that the iPad would also  become available in nine countries outside the US from 28th May.

 

 

The new Cubic Sim means that iPad 3G users who buy it  can avail of a single low cost transparent rate for web access across all European borders. The first Cubic Telecom iPad 3G SIM cards will be sold under the brand name MaxRoam and come pre loaded with 50MB of data.

 

 

"Our R+D team has been working for the last three months on the new MicroSIM or Form Factor 3 SIM card standard, which has been adopted by Apple for its new iPad and next generation iPhones," commented Cubic Telecom founder and  director of products and innovation Pat Phelan.

 

 

Cubic Telecom is a Licensed Mobile Network Operator which provides a flexible and smart platform that  enables its partners to offer global roaming services at greatly reduced costs.  Cubic Customers include multinational corporations, mobile network operators (MNOs), mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) and travel companies.

 

 

The Cubic Telecom technology combines multiple network identities (known as the International Mobile Subscriber Identity or IMSI) on one SIM card, to combine affordable global roaming with competitive national services. Cubic Telecom's SIM cards support roaming in 220 countries.
