Pioneer Cellular Selects Jinny Software's Messaging Products For its CDMA Business

DUBLIN -based Jinny Software, a leading global supplier of messaging and media solutions to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), has won a deal to provide  US carrier Pioneer Cellular with its suite of next generation multimedia messaging solutions.

Pioneer Cellular is an Oklahoma-based CDMA carrier which offers voice and data services. Pioneer chose Jinny's proven and cost-effective messaging solutions to enhance its service offerings, which will now be upgraded  utilising the power of Jinny's messaging solutions, specifically Jinny's SMSC, MMSC and Over-The-Air provisioning products.

OTA provisioning  describes a carrier's ability to download and install content over a wireless network.

Pioneer Cellular was seeking a trusted partner and able messaging provider to deliver key systems in its network. Experience and quality of support combined with the cost/benefit ratio, flexibility and capability of Jinny's solutions were the key determining factors in enabling the Irish company to win this contract.
