Tech Boutique Simpson FTPR is Named as Ireland's Outstanding Small PR Consultancy in the 2010 PR Excellence Awards
Dublin technology and financial services public relations specialist, Simpson Financial & Technology PR, a regular submitter of its clients' tech news to IrishDev.com, has been named as Ireland's outstanding small consultancy of the year in the 2010 PR Excellence Awards.
The 2010 Awards for Excellence in Public Relations are hosted by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (Northern Ireland region).
Simpson's award which was presented by the Irish Government Minister for Foreign Affairs, Micheál Martin TD, and won the PR Excellence Award for New Media with its client, web analytics company, StatCounter in 2009.
The agency, which marks its 15th anniversary this year, was the first Irish owned firm to specialise in technology PR. Founder Ronnie Simpson said: "As a boutique agency we can manage large technology and financial services clients at a senior level while offering cost effective PR to smaller tech firms and start ups."
Simpson, who recently spoke at one of IrishDe.com's Evangelist Night on Tech PR (more) continued "We can also offer indigenous Irish tech companies global reach through our membership of Eurocom Worldwide - The Global PR Network, which provides B2B PR with a focus on technology across 60 cities."
He added, "This nomination is a great tribute to our staff and clients."
Simpson Financial & Technology PR international clients include O2, Salesforce.com, Cisco and BearingPoint, as well as indigenous companies like Saaspoint, Thomond Technology, StatCounter, HiberniaEvros Technology Group and start-up Weedle.
