PR and SEO Agencies Join Forces to Help Irish Businesses Emerge in Export Markets
A new digital marketing service for technology and business to business (B2B) exporters was launched in Ireland yesterday (St Patrick's Day). Dublin agency Simpson Financial & Technology PR and search engine optimisation (SEO) specialist New Century Media have signed an agreement to provide a one stop shop international digital marketing service for exporters covering online PR and SEO.
In addition, Irish exporters will have access to global PR on a project basis through Simpson's international partner, Eurocom Worldwide, which also specialises in B2B with a focus on technology across 60 cities including the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Ronnie Simpson (pictured left), founder of Simpson FT PR and stalwart of the Irish public relations industry, said: "Over 90% of B2B buyers search online first, and the fact is that international buyers, partners and investors are out there looking for you. The goal now is to be on the first two pages of that Google search.
Many PR agencies are struggling to keep pace with rapid developments in SEO and many digital marketing agencies have limited PR experience or global PR reach. We are bringing the best of these skills together in a one stop shop with the added facility to buy in global PR services in 60 cities on a project basis as required," Simpson added.
Peter Dodds (pictured right), founder of New Century Media believes such is the importance of websites today, a single cent should not be spent on marketing until it is optimised. He said: "We are bringing to Irish exporters a compelling offer which combines the best of search engine optimisation and online PR which is a powerful mix to drive you up the search engine rankings.
Dodds added, "Effective SEO these days is highly labour intensive and needs to be continuous but we are able to offer a solution at keen rates out of Dublin because we manage the strategy and implementation in Ireland but outsource the number crunching to a specialist SEO partner in India. The Internet represents a huge opportunity for Irish exporters with relatively low budgets to market globally."
