Business Information Provider Set to Increase Headcount to 225 Highly Skilled Professionals By Close of 2012
Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), who provide commercial information and insight on businesses, is to grow its operation in Dublin by creating an additional 75 jobs by 2012, including software developers, researchers, analysts and support staff. This will bring the total number of jobs created by D&B in Ireland to 225 after establishing its presence in Dublin over one year ago.
Over the last 170 years, D&B have been providing its customers with quality business information that help customers mitigate credit and supplier risk, increase cash flow and drive increased profitability. Today, it also provides Internet Solutions which help to convert prospects into clients by enabling business professionals to research companies, executives and industries over the web. D&B services commercial database, which is enhanced by its' proprietary DUNSRight® Quality Process, contains more than 200 million business records from more than 200 countries.
The company currently employs 150 highly skilled people in its Irish operation in Sandyford, Co. Dublin which serves a range of technology and operations functions, and collects and processes data on subject companies.
Sara Mathews, CEO D&B said today's announcement follows the company's previous statement in 2010 that said it would create 150 jobs in Dublin by 2011. "I am extremely pleased with our Irish operations. We have been very successful in attracting high calibre staff in Dublin and they have been instrumental in our ability to expand our operations here."

D&B is a world leader in business information solutions and its decision to increase headcount in Ireland over and above what was previously planned is very welcome indeed."
Commenting on the company's expansion plans, Taoiseach Enda Kenny who met with Sara Mathews today to discuss the company's strategy and the 2012 outlook for D&B's Irish operations, said: "D&B's operation in Ireland has surpassed the company's expectations and has resulted in more highly skilled roles being created than previously anticipated. The company's decision to ramp up its recruitment is very welcome news and is a strong endorsement of Ireland's reputation as a leading location for the international business information products and services sector."
