Sony Xperia XA In Store From Friday

MasterChef Kevin Dundon Apps on New Sony Xperia XA in Partnership with Soho Appliances' IoT Sous Vide cooking System

The Xperia XA is an entry-level product presented along side the Xperia X and Xperia E5. Xperia XA has a 5" Full HD display stretching from edge-to-edge maximizing the screen space.

But the key focus on this smartphone is having great camera and battery features. Sony really concentrated on the camera features for those unexpected beautiful moments you want to quickly capture. The Xperia XA offers a Hybrid Autofocus to capture pictures in less than a second. While using the camera you are able to touch any area on the phone to auto focus on the subject or landscape in order to get sharp shots. The Xperia XA has an 8MP front camera with highly responsive sensors, which allows you to capture those special moments even in the low lighting.

The lifespan of the battery has doubled and the Xperia XA will have up to 2 days battery life. Sony has invested in Qnovo Battery Company enabling Sony to double the lifespan of their smartphone batteries, striving to have the best in class battery life.

The Xperia XA will be available in in black and rose gold from this Friday, 1st July, from all Ireland's operators with the white and lime gold available later in the year.

The Taste of Dublin event was Sony's fifth year as sponsor. They provided a premium five star experience in partnership with Powerscourt Hotel Resort and Spa's Sika Restaurant, who provided a tasting menu created especially by their award winning Chef de Cuisine Peter Byrne.

Masterchef Kevin Dundon also announced the Soho Appliances' Sous Vide cooking system, his latest cooking technology partnership enabling Internet of Things (IoT) seamless control using smartphone or tablets with exclusive Kevin Dundon apps now available for Sony Xperia X customers.
