Xtremepush Named Gartner Challenger

Irish Tech Firm Xtremepush Listed as a “Challenger” in 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Marketing Platforms

Irish-owned customer engagement, data and personalisation platform, Xtremepush, based in Ranelagh, Dublin, has been named a ‘Challenger’ in the global 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Marketing Platforms.

The Magic Quadrant series are written by a team of market analysts and technology specialists who closely monitor emerging trends by assessing different tech sectors and services around the world so decision-makers can make informed choices when choosing service providers.

The 2020 report acknowledges Xtremepush’s capabilities in core areas, highlighting the firm’s experience and expertise in verticals including gaming, publishing, financial services and digital commerce. Having been positioned in last year’s edition as a ‘Niche Player’, the business owners believe the improvement to Challenger reflects the company’s outstanding year-on-year growth and expansive product innovation.

Although Xtremepush’s capabilities and service offering extends beyond mobile platforms, CEO and co-founder Tommy Kearns (pictured right), said mobile is an area where his company particularly excels. He welcomed the assessment of the Xtremepush company and platform by saying; “I believe we are the youngest company featured in the report, so to be held in such high regard by industry experts speaks volumes about the pace at which both our product and our business as a whole is growing."

Xtrempush has grown significantly year on year since its launch in 2015 by, in part, adding a multitude of high-profile brands across every vertical to its global portfolio of clients. The company employs 65 people across offices in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Russia, Poland, UK and the Irish HQ. Recently announcing a partnership with Beechbrook Capital to support its global growth and its strategy to acquire complementary technology vendors, the company has plans to expand its US operations early in 2021.

Co-founder and CTO, Kevin Collins (pictured left), added; “From day one we have been a customer-centric business, and many of our product innovations, like A.I. chatbots and M.L. modelling, were developed in direct response to client needs.  Our enhanced data management capability is an important differentiator which few competitors can rival.”

Kearns continued; "While we are delighted with our position in this year’s Quadrant, we have serious ambitions to be a ‘Leader’ in 2021.  It is clear from the report just how close we are already, and our exciting roadmap will take us there”.
