Challenging Year Rounds Off with All-Ireland Business Foundation Tech Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 Win for Peter Rose
Peter Rose, the CTO and co-founder of Dublin based low-code platfrom company, TEKenable, has been named 'Tech Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Tech Entrepreneur of the Year is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria, recognising technical leadership, team building, creation and maintenance of a creative environment, and market awareness skills.
Peter was selected as Tech Entrepreneur this year because of his vision and courage to challenge the status quo and as an innovator who pushes boundaries to revolutionise the industry. Peter’s willingness to experiment with emerging technologies coupled with his vision and leadership expanded TEKenable’s technology portfolio through partnerships with Microsoft.
Dr. Briga Hynes, Head of the Adjudication Panel at the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick said; “Peter has continually connected the dots across three decades to meet market demand and provide custom-built services to fit client needs through recessions, dot com years and the pandemic.”
Peter co-founded TEKenable in 2002 with Nick Connors. The company focuses on delivering digital services through Low Code platforms to medium and large-scale enterprises in Ireland, the UK, Spain and the Middle East.
Commenting on his win, Peter said; “I’m incredibly proud to have won the ‘Tech Entrepreneur of the Year’ award. Entrepreneurship is very much about resilience, perseverance and optimism, and since we established the company, we have needed a lot of these ingredients. I’d like to take this opportunity to share a huge thanks to the amazing TEKenable team who made this possible.”
