Dr. Edward de Bono, creator of the Six Thinking Hats concept and the Six Thinking Hats training programme, is regarded as the world's leading authority on creative and conceptual thinking. He developed the original concept of "Lateral Thinking", which is now officially recognized in the Oxford English Dictionary, and has spent a lifetime refining this process and putting it into practice in leading organisations around the world. He is the author of over 80 books which have been translated into 32 languages  including Lateral Thinking for Management, Six Thinking Hats, and Serious Creativity.

Campbell Scott, CEO of the IGOpeople said, "The addition of Dr. de Bono to our Board is a significant step for us as we move into a new phase of fund raising and internationalising the business. The growth of the network since our launch in January has delighted us. We are ahead of target and have signed up a number of global brands to the service".

Dr de Bono's concepts have been applied by executives at some of the world's most successful corporations: American Standard, BP, British Airways, Citibank, Ford, Exxon, General Motors, IBM, Kodak, Merck, Monsanto, NTT (Japan), Pfizer, Prudential, Proctor & Gamble, Sandoz, Shell and more.

Fergal O'Byrne, Chairman of IGOpeople adds: "Getting someone of the calibre of Dr. de Bono bolsters the existing board. Dr. de Bono has been a mentor to the company's founder Cormac Horan for some time. His international reputation as a thought leader will no doubt have very postive benefits for IGOpeople and its users".
