Wicklow Company Wins Back-up Deal
Laztech IT Services Recently Won a Deal to Install keepITsafe online Backup into Doody Crowley Chartered Accountants

Keepitsate-online-Jonathan Crowe.JPGLaztech IT Services recently won a deal to install keepITsafe online backup into Doody Crowley Chartered Accountants based in Dublin 2. For Doody Crowley it was absolutely critical that they utilise a reliable, automated, offsite data protection plan that could grow with their business needs.

Prior to installation, a full backup took 22 hours due large volumes of data and fragmented file structure The difference with keepITsafe online is that it only backups new and updated files reducing the backup window to 2 hours.  As the company grew and the amount of data increased, and taking into consideration human error, it was a necessity to review the business continuity plan moving forward.

Doody Crowley took the necessary steps to ensure that their critical business data was secured with keepITsafe online in order to avoid the business implications of data loss disasters. Data is now available for full restore upon request and staff members are no longer involved in the backup process.

Rory Williams, Partner in Doody Crowley, stated; "As the process is fully managed and fully monitored we don't have to manually do anything. If there is a problem we will be informed about it straight away. It is an extremely proactive and cost effective solution to data backup which is critical in our business."

Jonathan Crowe, Technical Director, keepITsafe, stated; "A frequently cited study in Contingency Planning and Management magazine found that 40 percent of companies that shut down for three days failed within 36 months. The reality is if you are left in a data loss scenario it is very difficult for a company to recover."

Larry Burke, Director of Laztech IT Services, stated that ; "Our client now has the peace of mind that all data is fully encrypted and secured in multiple datacentres in Ireland. Businesses today never have to consider the daunting possibilities of being legally liable for damages from lost information with the latest backup methods."
