Hosting 365's Founder's Sibling Aidan McCarron Launches Dediserve, a New Web Infrastructure Company
Aidan McCarron, a veteran of the Data Centre and Web Hosting industry, has launched a new web infrastructure provider - Dediserve - in the Digital Hub today. With the aim of providing powered virtual solutions, Dediserve has built its own custom web based control panel that sits on the popular opensource Xen technology.
This new web interface will allow users to quickly deploy mail, web, DNS and development environments using pre-installed application stacks in a matter of minutes. Users can also take advantage of a custom built cloud platform for quick and easy scalability and redundancy.
Aidan McCarron, Managing Director, Dediserve, commented, "In the current economic climate, SME's are looking to reduce their web infrastructure costs without reducing the power, functionality and flexibility that a traditional dedicated server provides. By taking advantage of Cloud Computing technologies, we can offer a low-cost alternative to server ownership without compromising on quality or specification."
Dediserve plans to roll out a complete suite of additional enterprise products in the coming months, and hopes to create upwards of 30 new jobs in technical and R&D over the next three years.
Until recently, McCarron worked in Hosting365, Ireland's leading cloud hosting company which was founded by older brother Stephen McCarron. Dediserve is independent of Hosting365 although IrishDev.com has learnt that Stephen is being retained in an advisory role.
Paul Lynch, cloud expert for Hosting 365, and colleague Kevin O'Connor are presenting two sessions at the Irish Software Show epicenter 2009 on Friday 28th August in Trinity College Dublin. Kevin's session is open for all to attend on the day. See epicenter.ie for further details.
