Yendo Launches a Cloud-based Anytime and Anywhere Business Accounting Solution for Smart Phones
Irish start-up Yendo has launched an accounts application which allows business owners to track sales and accounts from their iPhones. It will also run on Apple's Nexus, the Palm Pre and Droid.
Yendo Accounts was developed for modern business on the move. It allows users to manage business accounts online from an iPhone, desktop pc or laptop. It is described as easy to use, with no upfront fees and needs no installation or set-up time.
Yendo Managing Director Morgan Lynch, (Pictured) said: "The launch of Yendo Accounts represents three years of development and is the first stage of our strategy to bring business applications to smartphones." The Dublin company has been operating for three years.
Yendo Accounts is a secure cloud computing application which can be accessed from any PC/Mac or smartphone device (iPhone, Nexus One, Palm Pre and Droid).
There are no big up-front fees with Yendo Accounts. Use of the software is subscription-based and allows unlimited users access for a small monthly fee.
Yendo Accounts is aimed at business owners who need to create their own monthly management accounts, track sales and keep on top of invoicing and sales reps who need to check they're reaching targets. sales people can take orders and send invoices via Yendo. and also see if the business is owed money - how much, how long ago and by whom.
Dublin-based Yendo has built the Accounts package for non-accountants and it is described as jargon free and easy to understand, with clear features that guide users through the bookkeeping process. If something needs to be double checked, users can also share information online with professional accountants.

Integrated Information - Yendo Accounts is integrated with Basecamp (Project Management) and PayPal (payments). Its also integrated with email and allows invoices to be sent directly to customers.
