 Where iPod Meets Twitter - Dublin Start-Up's TwitPod Lets Users  Listen To and Tweet Favorite Tracks

A new application called twitPod just launched by an Irish start up allows Twitter  users to share their favorite songs with friends, family and followers.

TwitPod offers users the ability to easily tweet song information, cover art, their own ratings & lyrics from their favorite songs.

TwitPod was developed by  Finglas, Co Dublin-based Redwind Software, and comes bundled with a powerful search feature that will also  try to find the lyrics to any song online, if you don't have the lyrics to the current track stored on your iPhone.

Helping music lovers  to marry their current obsessions with their social network use, twitPod allows users to listen to and tweet their favorite tracks in one easy process.

TwitPod includes an  advanced auto-tweet setting, which will automatically tweet any time the track changes, while the app is open. Redwind  is working on  other applications for the  iPhone OS  which it promises will debut soon.
