IVVO-Speechstorm2010MobileWorldCongress.pngSpeechStorm, the  Irish company behind some of Europe's largest Video-driven mobile banking services for mobile phones, will be showcasing its latest Video IVR service, dubbed IVVO,  at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week.

SpeechStorm's award-nominated  Interactive Voice and Video Response  (IVVR),or Video IVR system, IVVO, combines familiar voice-based IVR self-service features with video to create a compelling visual experience.

Ivvo allows  callers to do banking transactions by interacting with a real-time video stream by pressing buttons on a handset or through speech recognition.

SpeechStorm will be  exhibiting  Ivvo on the Northern Ireland Mobile Excellence stand, which is sponsored by Invest NI, the economic development organisation for Northern Ireland, in Barcelona,  from February 15th to the 18th. (stand IE61 in  Hall 1)

Ivvo's latest customers include two of Turkey's largest banks, Turkiye Is Bankasi (Isbank) and Akbank who have taken advantage of their country's new 3G network launch to offer Video IVR mobile banking services to their 25+ Million customers.

The Middle Eastern telecommunications giant, Etisalat was the first operator  to use SpeechStorm's Video IVR to offer Video IVR  services to 8.5 million Egyptian customers.

SpeechStorm's Video IVR uses dynamic video generation to deliver fast, interactive applications for mobile banking, customer self-service and interactive advertising for 3G video enabled phones. Since it was first unveiled  at last year's Mobile World Congress, SpeechStorm's Video IVR has   secured high profile market traction with mobile operators and banks.

SpeechStorm VP of Strategic Development Damian Kelly is very positive about the market take-up and  the increasing momentum around Video IVR, "This is an exciting time to be working in video and we have only just scratched the surface of what can be achieved," he believes.

ROUNDUP330.png"We see an increasing demand from organisations and service providers who want the ability to quickly and easily build their own video applications, not just for 3G video phones, but for a whole range of mobile and IP devices.

"SpeechStorm is leading the charge in this next generation of Video IVR and over the coming months we will unveil a series of announcements supporting this," said Kelly.
