New Accuris Data Solution
Launch at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona To Make Mobile Broadband More Profitable 4 Operators
Accuris Networks, a leading provider of Inter-Standard and convergence solutions, has announced a new solution to help mobile operators make mobile broadband services more profitable.
Mobile Data Offload will be launched next week at Mobile World Congress 2010 which takes place at the Fira Centre, Barcelona (Pictured) from 15-18 February.
Data Offload allows mobile operators to direct subscribers to Wi-Fi partners for mobile broadband services, while keeping them on their network.
Gilbert Little, Accuris Networks Chairman explained: "Data heavy 3G and Mobile Broadband applications are putting increased pressure on mobile operators. By using Mobile Data Offload, operators can cost effectively meet the growing demand for bandwidth while providing customers with high speeds,.
Little said that Accuris Networks' standards-based approach to automating Wi-Fi offload helps to increase adoption beyond today's proprietary solutions.
"Most importantly, this ensures that mobile operators keep control of their subscribers when they are on Wi-Fi networks. This means they can continue to deliver their services rather than lose out to over-the-top service providers," said Little.

Accuris Network's flagship product, AccuROAM enables data offload to Wi-Fi and WiMAX using secure SIM-based authentication with existing mobile networks.
It includes full billing, settlement and reconciliation between the IP-based network and the mobile billing environment.
Accuris Networks is offering a free trial to mobile operators willing to ‘roam' with their hosted trial system which is available over standard international inter-connect. This will allow them to experience offload onto Wi-Fi hotspots globally using their own SIMs
As the system was implemented with IMS in mind, AccuROAM evolves with operator's network becoming IMS Applications Servers. A key benefit of this is the ability to implement Voice and Messaging over LTE that conforms to the One Voice Initiative.
