Jinny Now a ‘Top 5' MMSC Provider

Swift Market Share Grab Underlines Jinny's Competence in Multimedia Message Handling

JINNY SOFTWARECEOMax Wilkie: The vision for the MMS market is brighter than it has been since its launch. Year-on-year service usage growth is now steady and many technical interoperability problems have been solved. Higher bandwidth mobile connections are contributing to increased growth driven by mobile advertisers Jinny Software, the  Dublin based supplier of messaging and media solutions to Mobile Network Operators  announced  that it is now among the top five Multimedia Message  Solution Centre (MMSC) solution providers globally per number of deployments, after  its market position was independently confirmed by recent market research from Informa Telecoms & Media.

Jinny Software's position in the top 5 MMSC providers globally underlines the company's competence and capability in the messaging space. However, more importantly, it illustrates that its longer-term strategy to gain market share in the global MMSC space, followed by the company in the last few years, has resulted in the end goal of significant MMSC ownership.

Jinny Software CEO Max Wilkie, (pictured) said, "I am delighted to see Jinny recognised for its leading position on the global MMSC market radar. It highlights  that the strategy we followed a number of years ago was the correct one."

Wilkie continued: "The vision for the MMS market is brighter than it has been since its launch. Year-on-year service usage growth is now steady and many technical interoperability problems have been solved. We are looking forward to strengthening our global MMSC market position in coming years.

Commenting on the future of the company in the global MMSC space, Wilkie added

"Higher bandwidth mobile connections are contributing to this increased growth, much of which, in the coming years, will be driven by mobile advertisers who are finding MMS increasingly attractive due to its rich media functionality, making it more suited to their requirements."
