O2 Links its Ideas Room Blog To Dublin City FM Radio Show The Persuaders

O2  is developing its business  blog  the ideas room into  an online community linked with Dublin City FM's weekly marketing and media radio show The Persuaders.

O2 is working with the Dublin radio station to develop a series of podcasts offering expert opinions on a range of  business subjects.  The blog-based forum will also enable Dublin City FM Listeners and  business people to share expertise and talk to each other online.

As well as being able to share their views via written blogs on the O2 ideas room, people will also be able access the blogs via podcasts.

"Podcasting is a great way for businesses to boost their searchability online," said Alex Gibson, (pictured) who is the host of The Persuaders. "The podcasts can be downloaded from the O2 ideas room and listened to on the move by people who may not have time to read the blogs."

Jonnie Cahill, Head of Communications & Sponsorship, Telefónica O2 Ireland said: "Through the new podcasts we are hoping to make expert business advice from the O2 ideas room even more accessible.

"The O2 ideas room continues to offer business experts the opportunity to develop their own online profile through blogs. If businesses want to create their own podcasts to submit, even better."

In a further enhancement to the O2 ideas room, Stephen Conmy, editor and publisher of a new social media publication, Digital Times has contributed a series of exclusive blogs on  how digital media can enhance your business.  Conmy's blogs include one on how Twitter can work for  business.
