Hosting 365 Acquired by Sunguard 

Sunny Days Ahead for Irish Hosting Company as it's Bought by One of World's Leading Disaster Recovery & IT Services Co's

SunGard, the UK company that provides disaster recovery services, managed IT services, information availability consulting services and business continuity management software, has acquired Dublin's Hosting 365.

Established in 2001, privately-owned Hosting 365 has built a strong presence in Ireland delivering both data centre managed IT services and, more recently, on-demand computing services within its cloud computing environment.  It has pioneered the use of Web-based tools to facilitate customer self-service across all aspects of the service procurement process. Customers can order and provision their changing computer requirements in near real-time as well as monitor their usage.

With annual revenue exceeding $5 billion, the acquisition of SunGard will certainly provide Hosting 365 with an opportunity to grow its product portfolio and services to its customers.
