Yendo Accounts is First Irish Software In Google Apps Mart

Dublin software start-up Yendo has launched a  new version of its Yendo Accounts package that  is integrated with Google Apps, making it the first Irish software company to have a package approved for sale through Google's recently launched online software shop.

Google Apps Integration means users will be able to seamlessly switch to Yendo Accounts from Gmail or any other Google application. As well as giving them  the benefits of single sign-on, Yendo's new package will allow its  users' to share  contacts and calendars  between their  Google and Yendo applications.

Yendo  was set up in 2008 and launched its flagship product Yendo Accounts in January this year.

Yendo Managing Director Morgan Lynch (pictured) said: "The launch of Yendo Accounts for Google Apps extends our reach into the North American market. It is an important stage in our goal to provide accounting software to SME's internationally," 

"About 15% of our customers are currently from the US. These customers have signed up on yendo.com directly. Although Google Apps is available in most countries, its adoption levels are highest in the US and Canada. We hope  that by making Yendo Accounts easily available to Google Apps users, we will increase our customer levels in these markets.

"Our strategy is to appoint partner resellers in different international markets.We are actively on the lookout for partners in the UK and Ireland and are open to discussion with any interested parties,"  explained Lynch.

Yendo Accounts for Google Apps is available exclusively through the Google Apps Marketplace.

Yendo Accounts is an online accounting application for small business. It allows business owners to create their own monthly management accounts, track sales and keep on top of invoicing. For sales reps it's invaluable, as it allows them to check if they're reaching targets. They  can take orders and send invoices via Yendo Accounts. If the business is owed money, Yendo can tell how much, how long ago and by whom.
