Irish Reseller Reaping CRM Benefits

Provident CRM Named as SugarCRM Partner of the Quarter as CRM Sales Soar in Q4 2010

PROVIDENT_CRM_Gary_Cullen.jpgSugarCRM, one of the world's fastest growing customer relationship management (CRM) companies, has given the accolade Best Partner, for the final Quarter of 2010 to its Irish partner, Provident CRM. The award comes as SugarCRM announces record growth for the fourth quarter and the full year 2010 in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

The company says momentum for its open source CRM product continues to build as over 200 new EMEA customers started using SugarCRM in the final three months of 2010 and more than 700 new customers being added in EMEA in throughout the year.

Billings for the region increased 58 percent in the fourth quarter compared to the third quarter of 2010 ( 65 percent increase  versus the fourth quarter of 2009 ) spurred on by the overwhelming demand for its latest release, Sugar 6. Tom Schuster, general manager of SugarCRM Europe, said: "The continued record financial and strong customer momentum is a testament to the fact that businesses of all sizes are demanding more open, flexible CRM solutions. The strong customer demand is complimented by the continued expansion of exceptional channel partners in the region, pointing towards continued success in 2011."

Sugar say that the growth in EMEA mimics SugarCRM's continued global momentum, with more than 50% annual billings growth worldwide. Their growing channel partner network is the primary driver of new business in the EMEA region.

Commenting on his company's success, Gary Cullen (pictured), Sales Director and Co-Founder of Provident CRM, which is based in Dublin, said: "SugarCRM is gaining a strong foothold in Europe, and particularly in Ireland as companies of all sizes within all sectors continue to analyse their total cost of ownership," comments . "Our customers are reaping the benefit of SugarCRM, a superior feature packed product which helps them drive efficiency and gain competitive advantage over companies using more expensive alternatives."

Cullen added: "We're delighted Provident has been named as SugarCRM's Best Partner as it shows that Irish companies can and do operate at an extremely high level, especially against companies in much larger countries with much larger territories."

Customer wins for Provident CRM included BCD, the Charville, Co.Cork manufacturer of clean process systems, the Williams F1 Team and Irish government agency Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM).

Richard Keays, commercial manager at BCD, said: "Our highly mobile, globally distributed sales team required a solution that would be easy to use, accessible and dynamic. SugarCRM delivered on all of our requirements, and more. Provident CRM were fundamental to the success of this project: Their insight and guidance assisted us in mapping our current processes seamlessly into SugarCRM, allowing us to instantly leverage the benefits of the system. They also took the extra step of identifying areas where we could drive further efficiency, cost savings, better customer service and ultimately, higher revenues."
